Protect the campsite and nature from forest fires

In order to prevent the increase of forest fires and the danger they represent, the government has just launched a campaign to be relayed massively: https://www.ecologie.gouv.fr/campagne-feux-forets

Forest fires are on the increase in France during this period of high temperatures, although this varies from region to region. It is therefore advisable to find out about the risks of fire and the steps to take before leaving on holiday.

If you see a fire or a start of a fire :

call 112 or 18 and specify the area
evacuate the area
If the fire is near your home, take shelter inside. The authorities will evacuate you if the situation becomes critical.
As part of an ecological approach to protecting the environment and the flora and fauna, French campsites are committed to fighting the scourge of forest fires.
